法語opportunité和英語opportunity看上很相似，實(shí)則有區(qū)別。
有很多學(xué)習(xí)法語課程的同學(xué)反映說，經(jīng)常會看到一些法語和英語拼寫很像的單詞，這些法語單詞雖然看似和英語很像，但其實(shí)含義是完全不一樣的，就像opportunité和opportunity。所以今天朗閣法語老師就來和同學(xué)們講解一下，英法形近詞opportunité和opportunity有什么區(qū)別呢？
Malgré l'opposition des puristes, l'emploi d'opportunité se répand de plus en plus dans le sens de “occasion favorable”, sous l'influence d l'anglais.
Opportunité？學(xué)過英語的童鞋們會馬上聯(lián)想到“opportunity”(機(jī)會)= “occasion favorable”。
盡管這種用法是受英語的影響，受到堅(jiān)持“純正法語”人士的反對，但在法語中還是用得越來越多了，如：
Co?t d'opportunité, opportunity cost,“機(jī)會成本”
La France doit saisir les opportunités du développement en Chine.
France should seize the opportunity of development in China.
法國應(yīng)該抓住*發(fā)展的機(jī)會。
opportunité 的本意是什么呢？
Opportunité, opportuneness, is linked to opportun, whether something is a good idea or not at a given time.
實(shí)際上，opportunité 是從形容詞 opportun 來的（英文是opportune），應(yīng)該翻譯成英語的 opportuneness：適時(shí)，合時(shí)宜。即做某事的時(shí)機(jī)（時(shí)間）是否適宜。（Timeliness, appropriateness）.
例如：
Je mets sérieusement en doute l'opportunité d'une telle démarche.
I very much question the opportuneness/timeliness/appropriateness of such a step.
我質(zhì)疑這樣做的時(shí)機(jī)（是否合適）。
Avant de prendre cette décision, il faut juger de son opportunité.
Before making this decision, we must evaluate its appropriateness. We must decide if it is the right thing to do now.
做決定之前，要先確定這樣做是否合時(shí)宜。
英語的 opportunity 可以譯為法語的 occasion 等，當(dāng)然，用 opportunité 人家也懂啦。如：
I've been to Paris several times but I've never had the opportunity to visit the Louvre.
J'ai été à Paris à plusieurs reprises mais je n'ai jamais eu l'occasion de visiter le Louvre.
我到過巴黎好幾次，但一直沒機(jī)會去參觀盧浮宮。
He left the village and went to London in search of new opportunities.
Il quitta le village et se rendit à Londres à la recherche de nouvelles perspectives d'avenir.
他離開村子，到倫敦去尋找新的機(jī)會。
如何區(qū)別 opportunité 的兩種意義呢？
如果有不定冠詞，“une opportunité”，或者是復(fù)數(shù)，“des opportunités”，那肯定是“機(jī)會”的意思了。因?yàn)椋鳌皶r(shí)機(jī)，時(shí)宜”講的opportunité 是不可數(shù)的。
"Une opportunité inopportune"是個(gè)什么機(jī)會呢？
來得不是時(shí)候的機(jī)會：你剛吃的飽飽的，這時(shí)候有朋友說要請你吃法國大餐！

法語“opportunité”是"適合，適宜，時(shí)機(jī)“的意思.

英語“opportunity”是“機(jī)會”意思。
